Befitting You is seeking an experienced Physical Therapy Technician & Orthotic Fitter to work onsite in an orthopedic practice. This opportunity will provide hands on patient care fitting orthotics and orthopedic bracing. Working alongside orthopedic physician, physical therapist and athletic trainers. Training will be provide, but a strong knowledge of human anatomy is required.

Job duties include but not limited to the following:

Evaluate patient(s) for prescribed orthotic devices and / or durable medical equipment.

Measure, cast and / or fit, discuss therapeutic goals, discuss donning and doffing of product and wear and care of product(s) to customer.

Educate and instruct patient(s) with proper usage of their product(s)

Document patient's history, product(s) and usage of products.

Explain insurance benefits and coverage.

Patient data entry into our EMR

Manage inventory within your location.

Interact with referring physician regarding prescribed equipment

Qualifications:

Must have a high school diploma or equivalent

Must have 1 year experience fitting bracing and/or working with durable medical equipment products in a health care setting

Experience in physical therapy or athletic training is preferred.
