Organizational Psychologist studies and assesses the organizations workforce, management, culture, business objectives, and challenges using psychological principles and research methods. Designs and develops programs and tools that will be appropriate for the needs of the organization and which will assist employees and management to better achieve desired goals. Being an Organizational Psychologist utilizes various methods including employee surveys, focus groups, skill assessments, performance appraisals, and other feedback mechanisms to assist management in identifying issues and driving improvements. Creates solutions and programs that may be focused on employee selection, job training, leadership training, workplace and family issues, and change management. Additionally, Organizational Psychologist requires a master's degree in industrial/organizational psychology. Typically reports to a manager or head of a unit/department. The Organizational Psychologist works autonomously. Goals are generally communicated in "solution" or project goal terms. May provide a leadership role for the work group through knowledge in the area of specialization. Works on advanced, complex technical projects or business issues requiring state of the art technical or industry knowledge.     Position Overview

    Join our team as a (PASRR) Preadmission Screening and Resident Review Clinical Evaluator and be an instrumental force in reshaping healthcare and enriching the lives of patients in our communities.

    In this role, you will lead the charge by performing comprehensive, in-person clinical assessments on individuals dealing with mental illness and intellectual disabilities. These assessments often take place in a variety of settings, including nursing homes, communities, and hospitals within San Diego and surrounding areas. As a trusted expert, you will have the autonomy to evaluate their care needs and provide invaluable determinations and recommendations for their ongoing level of care, helping to improve patient's well being and enhane thier quality of life.

    This is a Full Time - Hybrid role that will entail working from your home office while also dedicating a portion of your day to fieldwork, involving travel to patients within your surrounding counties and in proximity to your residence. Must be open to covering the San Diego, CA. Embracing this hybrid position offers the best of both worlds. Furthermore, if you're interested in a Part-Time role, we also offer (PRN) positions that may requires availability to work weekends.

    Job Responsibilities

    • Conduct comprehensive clinical assessments, including pre-admission screenings and evaluations, to determine the precise level of support and care needed by patients.
    • Leverage your clinical expertise to make accurate diagnoses, taking into account psychological and behavioral complexities.
    • Analyze psychological, emotional, behavioral, and physical functioning to formulate well-founded recommendations for the level of care required.
    • Ensure strict adherence to essential workflows, including revisiting patient records based on feedback from the doctors and psychiatrist.
    • Foster effective collaboration with a diverse range of healthcare professionals, patients, families, and support networks.
    • Efficiently prioritize and execute tasks with meticulous attention to detail, ensuring optimal outcomes.

    Required Qualifications, Skills, Knolwedge and Experience

    • Active unrestricted licensure in the state of California in a healthcare or related field. Eligible licenses may include (LCSW), (LMFT), (LPCC), (Nurse Practitioner), or (Psychologist).
    • Minimum of 2 to 3 years of experience in diagnosing and assessing individuals with mental/psychiatric disorders. This includes handling complex differential diagnoses related to substance use, medical conditions, cognitive issues, and dementia.
    • Minimum two or more years of direct experience working with individuals who have intellectual disabilities or related conditions.
    • Demonstrate advanced proficiency in computer applications such as Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook.
    • Experience with geriatric populations is highly desirable.
    • Communicate information clearly and effectively through various mediums to individuals and groups.
    • Proficient working with PC/Computers, Microsoft Office, adept at navigating internal software applications, databases, managing multiple screens, and performing data entry.

    Compensation

    The compensation for this role is $85,000 - $90,000 annual salary. Based on our compensation program, an applicant’s position placement in the pay range will depend on various considerations, such as years of applicable experience and skill level. Thank you.
