Organizational Psychologist studies and assesses the organizations workforce, management, culture, business objectives, and challenges using psychological principles and research methods. Designs and develops programs and tools that will be appropriate for the needs of the organization and which will assist employees and management to better achieve desired goals. Being an Organizational Psychologist utilizes various methods including employee surveys, focus groups, skill assessments, performance appraisals, and other feedback mechanisms to assist management in identifying issues and driving improvements. Creates solutions and programs that may be focused on employee selection, job training, leadership training, workplace and family issues, and change management. Additionally, Organizational Psychologist requires a master's degree in industrial/organizational psychology. Typically reports to a manager or head of a unit/department. The Organizational Psychologist works autonomously. Goals are generally communicated in "solution" or project goal terms. May provide a leadership role for the work group through knowledge in the area of specialization. Works on advanced, complex technical projects or business issues requiring state of the art technical or industry knowledge.     Rate: $120/hr.  
    Employment Type: Full Time, 1099 independent contractor
    Duration: Now – December 2024 with possibility of extension through 2025 
    Location: Hybrid – Primarily remote, but will have occasional travel to client sites which may include locations in California, Ohio, and Georgia 


    Scope of Services:
      

    • This role will focus on driving cultural and mindset changes in data management and mastery for an organization in the consumer product goods/manufacturing sector. The OCM Lead will partner with Business subject matter experts to define change impacts and propose and execute a change strategy, plan, and deliverables to build new capabilities in the organization that utilize data to drive decision making.


    Roles, Responsibilities and Deliverables:
     

    • OCM Strategy: Support the implementation of a broader change initiative via data analysis. 
    • Stakeholder Engagement/ Learning/Communications & Engagement Deliverables: Collaborate closely with clients and stakeholders to develop a plan to help stakeholders understand what success looks like, what data management and mastery is, and how to apply this capability in their daily operations.
    • Change Leadership: Demonstrate strong change leadership by providing guidance, coaching, and mentorship to project teams and stakeholders. Foster a culture of adaptability and openness to change. 

     
    Qualifications: 

    • Change Management Expertise: Possess 10 years of experience in a change management-related role, demonstrating a track record of successfully leading data-driven Change Management initiatives. 
    • ERP Project Experience: Previous experience with ERP/Transformation projects. 
    • Consumer Product Goods/Manufacturing Sector Experience: The preferred candidate would have prior work experience in a plant or distribution center. 
    • Stakeholder Collaboration: Ability to work and interact effectively at all levels of the organization, across functions and geographical locations, to build strong relationships and drive alignment. 
    • Communication Skills: Exhibit strong written and verbal communication skills, along with exceptional organizational, time management, and follow-through capabilities. 
    • Strategic and Tactical Thinking: Capable of thinking strategically to align Change Management initiatives with overarching project goals, while also executing tasks at a detailed level. 
    • Prior Management Consulting Experience
