Organizational Development Manager manages all aspects of organizational development. Oversees the development of training programs, facilitation of change management initiatives, and review of current development programs to ensure linkage to company goals. Being an Organizational Development Manager develops programs to build human capital and a strong employee development culture. Facilitates the development and implementation of employee performance measurements to gauge the success of programs and identify areas for improvement. Additionally, Organizational Development Manager assesses leadership development, team development, and organizational communication programs and practices. Typically requires a bachelor's degree or equivalent. Typically reports to a director. The Organizational Development Manager manages subordinate staff in the day-to-day performance of their jobs. True first level manager. Ensures that project/department milestones/goals are met and adhering to approved budgets. Has full authority for personnel actions. To be an Organizational Development Manager typically requires 5 years experience in the related area as an individual contributor. 1 - 3 years supervisory experience may be required. Working Conditions
There is an expectation to report to the office location a certain number days a week as determined by the leader for the position. As a global organization, there is an expectation of irregular hours for meetings and calls which may include evenings and on a very rare occasion a weekend might be needed to meet certain project deadlines or attend a call/meeting. There is also a possibility of international travel – candidate would need to be able to obtain and hold a passport and obtain a Visa for certain countries within our portfolio of countries if travel is warranted. Travel expectation globally is minimal, occasional domestic travel may be needed when required, expectation is ~5 % or less
Physical Requirements
Incumbent may be required to stand for prolong times while facilitating a training. The ability to travel by air for long international flights may be needed
Safety Requirements
All employees are required to attend scheduled training, follow the site EHS procedures and Coherent Corp EHS standards. This includes the use of proper protective equipment (PPE) as required by the job responsibilities.
Managers will ensure that all safety and environmental procedures are followed consistently. They will ensure that risk assessments are performed, proper training, work instructions, required PPE is available, and will monitor compliance.

Depending on location, this position may be responsible for the execution and maintenance of the ISO 9000, 9001, 14001 and/or other applicable standards that may apply to the relevant roles and responsibilities within the Quality Management System and Environmental Management System.
