Organizational Development Director directs the design, planning, and implementation of corporate organizational development programs, policies, and procedures. Approves change management initiatives and suggests enhancements to existing programs. Being an Organizational Development Director oversees the development of programs to build human capital and a strong employee development culture. Reviews key performance metrics to enable accurate and valid measurement of workforce performance and to identify areas for improvement. Additionally, Organizational Development Director proposes changes to organizational structure to leverage talent and provide development opportunities to key leaders in the organization. Develops systematic collection and evaluation of performance metrics. Requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to top management. The Organizational Development Director manages a departmental sub-function within a broader departmental function. Creates functional strategies and specific objectives for the sub-function and develops budgets/policies/procedures to support the functional infrastructure. To be an Organizational Development Director typically requires 5+ years of managerial experience. Deep knowledge of the managed sub-function and solid knowledge of the overall departmental function.   • Peregrine Team is hiring for a Senior Organizational Development Specialist. This position is a full-time, 6-month contract to hire role with full benefits and competitive pay.  

    Pay: $100,000-$145,000/year 

    Job Duties: 

    • Support the design, development and implementation of the hospital's leadership and professional development programs, including managing external vendor partners who assist the hospital in delivering learning experiences
    • Work with business units to customize leadership programs to clients’ needs
    • Act as the Leadership & OD resource to HR Employee Relations Advisors, Front-line, Mid-Level and Senior Leaders
    • Partner with the head of Nursing Education to develop and oversee leadership development initiatives in support of Charge Nurse Development
    • Builds meaningful and collaborative partnerships across HR and the organization
    • Manage enterprise-wide Leadership Curriculum including vendor management, LMS posting and CEU coordination
    • Marketing and communication of leadership & OD programs
    • Collaborate with OD Director and HR leaders to ensure the most effective diagnosis and application of OD frameworks, models and tools
    • Designs, develops and facilitates Team Effectiveness interventions
    • Works independently and as part of a team with all levels of the organization
    • Manages change effectively and helps other to understand the stages and strategies to lead effective organizational change
    • Understands adult learning principles and application to leadership development programs
    • Schedules and manages leadership development schedule of classes for the organization
    • Coordinate and communicate with program developers and external leadership development program vendors
    • Writes, clear, concise and compelling communications, to gain desired results
    • Builds high trust and credibility at all levels of the organization
    • Perform other duties as assigned

    Required Qualifications: 

    • Bachelors Degree in Organizational Development, Organizational Leadership, Education or related discipline and/or equivalent work experience - Required
    • 8 years of recent experience implementing leadership and organizational development initiatives, and team effectiveness strategies in a mid to large size organization - Required


    Preferred:

    • Master’s degree Organizational Development, Leadership, Education, I-O Psychology, or a related field. -Preferred
    • Skilled at facilitating large group meetings and developing consensus 
    • Strong Leadership & Organizational development program management, project management and process management expertise - Preferred
    • Experience in employee survey analysis and action planning. Experience coaching front-line and mid-level leaders. Must be proficient with Microsoft Office suite of products
    • Excellent oral, written and interpersonal skills, including the ability to effectively work with all levels of employees. Instructional design of employee & leadership development courses for mid to large size companies - 
    • Certification in one of more assessment/feedback instruments (e.g. MBTI, DISC, FIRO-B, Lominger Leadership Architect, Coaching and 360 Feedback certification) - Preferred
