Organizational Development Director directs the design, planning, and implementation of corporate organizational development programs, policies, and procedures. Approves change management initiatives and suggests enhancements to existing programs. Being an Organizational Development Director oversees the development of programs to build human capital and a strong employee development culture. Reviews key performance metrics to enable accurate and valid measurement of workforce performance and to identify areas for improvement. Additionally, Organizational Development Director proposes changes to organizational structure to leverage talent and provide development opportunities to key leaders in the organization. Develops systematic collection and evaluation of performance metrics. Requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to top management. The Organizational Development Director manages a departmental sub-function within a broader departmental function. Creates functional strategies and specific objectives for the sub-function and develops budgets/policies/procedures to support the functional infrastructure. To be an Organizational Development Director typically requires 5+ years of managerial experience. Deep knowledge of the managed sub-function and solid knowledge of the overall departmental function.     Summary: 

    This position will manage and develop new customer relationships, identify, qualify, track, prioritize pursuit opportunities and lead project acquisitions strategy that support Branch Business Plan.  


    Principal Duties and Requirements:

    • Lead entertainment strategies to maintain and grow relationships.        
    • Participate in establishing and guiding annual business planning.       
    • Skillfully negotiates and settles differences between multiple stakeholders by resolving conflict and coordinating action plans.      
    • Takes Lead on all project interviews and coaches our internal team to ensure that all client requirements are met.      
    • Prepares for client meetings, set specific agenda, and has internal team aligned with meeting goals,      
    • Lead entertainment strategies to maintain and grow relationships.
    •  Other duties assigned to support department needs.
    •  Attends industry events and other client-related events.
    •  Accurately tracks and forecast new opportunities against current backlog to meet Branch Business Plan.
    •  Takes Lead on all RFQ’s/RFP’s and assembles pursuit teams.
    •  Consistently track status of new project opportunities and provide monthly updates to senior leaders.

    Education:

    1. Bachelor’s degree in construction management, Sales, Business Management or related field, OR 10 years of progressive experience Sales or Client Services in Construction trade preferred.


    Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:  

    1. Knowledge of commercial construction principles, techniques, and procedures.
    2. Approachable and accessible, demonstrated ability to put others at ease, builds rapport and depth in relationships quickly.
    3. Experience in sales preferred.
    4. Ability to effectively present information in oral, written, and graphic form.
    5. Ability to communicate effectively with management, staff, and stakeholders.
    6. Demonstrated skills in organizing and evaluating information.
    7. Demonstrate mastery of project and time management.
    8. Work in fast paced/noisy work environment.
    9. Exceptional interpersonal, organizational and communication skills.
    10. Ability to establish processes where no precedent or guidelines exist.


    Additional Compensation includes:

    • $815/month car allowance
