Organizational Development Director directs the design, planning, and implementation of corporate organizational development programs, policies, and procedures. Approves change management initiatives and suggests enhancements to existing programs. Being an Organizational Development Director oversees the development of programs to build human capital and a strong employee development culture. Reviews key performance metrics to enable accurate and valid measurement of workforce performance and to identify areas for improvement. Additionally, Organizational Development Director proposes changes to organizational structure to leverage talent and provide development opportunities to key leaders in the organization. Northern Valley Catholic Social Service is hiring a Development Director to oversee all fundraising strategies and programs for the Agency. Our mission at NVCSS is inspiring hope and transforming lives.
NVCSS has been serving the North State for over 35 years. NVCSS is seeking a motivated and energetic Development Director to rebuild a comprehensive Development Department for the Agency. The Development Director will build an Agency wide multi-faceted development plan, oversee case development, prospect (individuals, businesses, and foundations) identification, relationship building and solicitation, leadership training and management. The Development plan will include a calendar of strategies for the year, as well as marketing components. Success will be measured by results: increasing the number of donors, increasing the amount of philanthropic dollars coming into the Agency, the engagement of the entire Agency, and event success (increased income and streamlined processes.) The Development Director will also be responsible to build a Planned Giving/Legacy Program, oversee a team, support program level fund development, and streamline all systems related to fundraising. Successful candidates will have a strong background in non-profit fundraising and development, advanced communication and project management skills, and executive level prioritization skills. Stay informed about trends and best practices in fundraising and philanthropy. This position is part of the leadership team and reports to the Executive Director.
