Organizational Development Director directs the design, planning, and implementation of corporate organizational development programs, policies, and procedures. Approves change management initiatives and suggests enhancements to existing programs. Being an Organizational Development Director oversees the development of programs to build human capital and a strong employee development culture. Reviews key performance metrics to enable accurate and valid measurement of workforce performance and to identify areas for improvement. Additionally, Organizational Development Director proposes changes to organizational structure to leverage talent and provide development opportunities to key leaders in the organization. Develops systematic collection and evaluation of performance metrics. Requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to top management. The Organizational Development Director manages a departmental sub-function within a broader departmental function. Creates functional strategies and specific objectives for the sub-function and develops budgets/policies/procedures to support the functional infrastructure. To be an Organizational Development Director typically requires 5+ years of managerial experience. Deep knowledge of the managed sub-function and solid knowledge of the overall departmental function.     Daycare Teacher General Position Description

    The Daycare Teacher is responsible for developing a cohesive teaching team, coordinating the curriculum, and managing the day-to-day operational activities of the classroom. Teachers must understand children's cognitive, social, emotional and physical development in order to ensure a safe and stimulating classroom environment where children are actively engaged and encouraged to succeed. The Teacher must be skilled in communicating with both children and adults in order to meet the needs of the children, effectively guide teacher assistants, and resolve parental concerns.

    Daycare Teacher Key Responsibilities

    Coordinate and implement educational curriculum by developing classroom activities based on developmentally appropriate practices and early learning standards.

    • Lead by example; encourage teaching team success through modeling and coaching.
    • Plan individual and group age-appropriate activities to actively engage children and encourage social, cognitive and emotional growth.
    • Maintain frequent communications with parents through informal discussions, progress reports, and parent-teacher conferences.
    • Ensure all center policies and state regulations are met.
    • Ensure a healthy classroom environment - including maintaining appropriate hygiene and cleanliness standards and safety and security of children.
    • Supervise teacher assistants and classroom volunteers to ensure they are following planned activities, hygiene and safety standards.
    • Maintain accurate records, forms and files.

    Maintain personal professional development plan to ensure continuous quality improvement.

    Daycare Teacher Educational Requirements

    • Minimum CDA, TCC, ECE credits to qualify for Lead Teacher
    • Minimum Associate's Degree in early childhood education or related field of study with a minimum of 30 Credits in ECE.
