Summersville Place Apartments is looking to hire a Part-Time Maintenance Technician to join our team! This position will work under a Maintenance Supervisor and will assist in ensuring the property, grounds, and equipment are safe, orderly, and visibly appealing. The right person will be self-motivated, able to work as part of a team, provide outstanding customer service, and take immense pride in their work.

• Maintain grounds daily, as well as snow removal during winter months, when needed
• Timely completion of apartment turns, work orders and special projects
• Completion of minor plumbing and other service requests
• Servicing residents in a friendly, customer service-oriented manner, ensuring timely completion of the work order.

The Maintenance Technician should have basic knowledge about plumbing, appliance repairs, and apartment turns. Availability for on-call emergencies when necessary. Must have a valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and satisfactory background screening.

Working Conditions

Work is typically performed at the property with moderate noise level; however, noise level will vary at times depending on assignment. Walking, standing, sitting, crouching, crawling and climbing are necessary throughout the day. May be exposed to various weather conditions when working on the exterior of the property. It may be necessary to lift weights up to 50 pounds.

Education: High School/GED
