SUMMARY
Receives, process, tracks and reports status of customer quote requests and orders in accordance with MHPSA customer service standards. Maintain informational exchanges and communications with all groups and organizations contributing to the fulfillment of material demands. Must have the ability to handle effectively multiple quotes and orders simultaneously, and prioritize work based on schedule demands. Order Fulfillment Specialist I position is an entry-level position that requires handling requests and providing customer service, guidance, and routine support for products and/or programs.
2.0 ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Receives and process customer inquiries while ensuring that information is clearly transferred to all related teams;
- Regularly provides status reports for outstanding inquiries;
- Prepares and reviews quotes/proposals;
- Receives, prioritizes, and processes customer orders;
- Generate specific and clear customer requirements to all implementing organizations;
- Regularly provides status reports for outstanding orders;
- Schedules and releases orders for shipments in accordance to MHPSA policies and customer requirements;
- Prepares invoice/billing document per order terms;
- Provide prompt resolution of customer issues with regard to warranty, suspense, deficiencies and other contract/purchase order issues;
- Provide afterhours support for outages and emergencies;
- Work closely with the LTSA and Sales teams to develop and establish a centralized tracking (historical – current – planning) system. Working as a team, coordinate the effort with support functions;
- Support the development and improvement of processes and procedures and
document process descriptions defining specific steps/actions necessary to complete daily functions;
- Provide assistance with the investigation and resolution of routine problems;
- Provide assistance in the coordination of activities with other internal departments to meet customer needs;
- Provide support as required for Customer Master entry and/or maintenance;
- Provide assistance and feedback to higher classified personnel on important customer issues;
- Minimal overnight travel (less than 10%);
- Perform other such duties as may be required.

- Basic knowledge of power plant operation, manufacturing techniques and
capabilities.
- Education and/or Experience: Bachelor’s Degree in technical or business-related field from an accredited college/university or its recognized equivalent in directly related work experience. Minimum 3 years directly related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Language Skills: Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.
- Mathematical Skills: Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as probability and statistical inference. Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations.
- Reasoning Ability: Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.
- Computer Skills: Knowledge of database software; project management software; spreadsheet software and word processing software; electronic mail; graphics; technical diagrams; flow charts, etc.
