Orange Dot is looking for an Order Fulfillment Specialist to join our team. This role is integral in managing the intricacies of our logistics operations, ensuring seamless coordination of various tasks from order processing to final delivery.
The ideal candidate will possess meticulous attention to detail and proficiency in managing diverse logistics activities that will contribute to the efficiency and effectiveness of our operations.
This position will perform work for Orange Dot but will be stationed at Comfort Research's Lewisburg facility (651 Heil Quaker Ave, Suite C, Lewisburg, TN 37091).
JOB DUTIES
- Conduct manual order entry by accurately inputting information and product details into the system.
- Process Dropship orders efficiently, ensuring timely communication and accurate shipment scheduling.
- Perform picking and packing tasks with precision, following established procedures to maintain order accuracy and product integrity.
- Validate weights and dimensions of packages to ensure compliance with shipping requirements and minimize discrepancies.
- Enter international shipping addresses, including APO/FPO addresses, into the system, adhering to postal regulations and guidelines.
- Bundle packages securely utilizing packaging materials.
- Repack items as needed to optimize space utilization and enhance efficiency.
- Build out packages according to specific shipping requirements.
- Coordinate, schedule, and prepare for USPS pickups and deliver shipments to USPS facilities.
- Other duties as assigned by leadership.

Requirements
Required Skills and Abilities:
- Strong Computer Skills: Proficiency in using computer systems and software for order entry, inventory management, and shipment tracking.
- Strong Organizational Skills: Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively to meet deadlines.
- Ability to Accurately Follow Directions: Capacity to understand and follow detailed instructions to ensure accurate execution of tasks.
- Detail-oriented: Meticulous attention to detail to avoid errors in order processing, packaging, and documentation.
- Strong Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively interact with internal teams, clients, suppliers, and USPS representatives.
- Ability to Stand for Up to 8 Hours: Capable of standing for extended periods during tasks such as picking and packing.
- Ability to Work Independently: Demonstrated capability to work autonomously and efficiently without constant supervision.
- Self-Driven: Motivated and proactive in managing workload and seeking opportunities for improvement.
- Reliability: Dependability and consistency in fulfilling job duties and meeting commitments.
- Reliable Transportation: Must have reliable transportation for commuting to work and for transporting packages to USPS locations if required.
Preferred Skills & Abilities:
- Inventory Accountability/Cycle Counting: Experience in inventory management, including accountability and cycle counting practices, is desirable.
- Supply Management: Previous experience in supply management, including procurement and inventory replenishment, is preferred.
- Experience with ShipStation Program: Familiarity with ShipStation or similar shipping software is preferred but not mandatory.
Note: While experience in the mentioned areas is preferred, candidates without this experience who possess the necessary skills and qualifications are still encouraged to apply.
Working Conditions:
- Warehouse Setting: The role is primarily conducted in a warehouse environment, where temperatures may vary and exposure to elements such as dust, noise, and moderate physical exertion may occur.
- Limited Climate Control: Please note that the warehouse may not be equipped with climate control systems. As such, candidates should be prepared to work in conditions that may be affected by seasonal weather variations.
- Physical Demands: The position may require standing for extended periods, lifting and moving packages of various sizes and weights, up to 50 pounds, and performing tasks that involve repetitive motions.
- Safety Precautions: Adherence to safety protocols and the use of personal protective equipment (PPE) are essential to ensure a safe working environment for all employees.
