Order Fulfillment Director leads and directs the order fulfillment process. Oversees order entry, administration, and shipping processes. Being an Order Fulfillment Director develops scalable business processes and customer service standards to deliver efficient order processing. Implements order tracking and CRM systems to process orders, maintain customer information, and monitor contracts or agreements for expiration or renewal. Additionally, Order Fulfillment Director establishes inventory monitoring procedures to track and trigger actions that will maintain appropriate levels of products. JOB DESCRIPTION: Order Builders are responsible for picking customer orders in an accurate and efficient manner. We are a customer service business; we strive to provide our customers with the highest level of service possible. This includes supplying our customers with the product they order, with on-time delivery and in sellable condition. Order Builders are a critical part of this process.
PHYSICAL NATURE: This position does require extensive physical labor due to picking numerous customer orders, walking within departments to pick customer orders, placing containers on pallets or conveyors, etc. This is a fast-paced position, requiring each Order Builder to pick several hundred orders within his/her department(s) daily. It is required that an Order Builder team member be able to lift up to 75 lbs. repeatedly.
MENTAL NATURE: This position is a very detail-oriented position. Order Builders must understand picking operations and how inefficiencies effect operations, including on-time departures, inventory, financials, and customer service.
EQUIPMENT: This position could require the use of fork-lifts, walkie-riders, and pallet jacks.
TECHNOLOGY: This position requires the use of RF scanning devices, computers, printers, WMS.
PREVIOUS EXPERIENCE: We are seeking an individual with proven success in one or more of the following: use of RF scanning units, distribution, warehousing, and inventory. We are also seeing individuals with proven long-term employment in the past.
WORKING CONDITIONS: We are a distribution/warehousing facility. Our ambient warehouse temperature tends to be cold in the winter and hot in the summer. Our cooler/freezers are 36˚F and -10˚F, respectively. Order builders are required to work in all areas. Freezer wear is provided.
WAGES: Wages will be based on assigned department. This is an hourly position that will require overtime at times. Order Building is an incentive-based position with a starting base rate of $11.50/hr. in our ambient warehouse. / INCENTIIVE: Order Builders are on an incentive program based on pieces pulled. Typically, a new hire will start seeing an incentive after 6-8 weeks but are eligible as soon as he/she hits production goals. There is no cap to the incentive.
