Order Fulfillment Director leads and directs the order fulfillment process. Oversees order entry, administration, and shipping processes. Being an Order Fulfillment Director develops scalable business processes and customer service standards to deliver efficient order processing. Implements order tracking and CRM systems to process orders, maintain customer information, and monitor contracts or agreements for expiration or renewal. Additionally, Order Fulfillment Director establishes inventory monitoring procedures to track and trigger actions that will maintain appropriate levels of products. Partners with stakeholders to identify conditions impacting the fulfillment workflow and to develop effective solutions. Requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to senior management. GENERAL DESCRIPTION
Perform daily warehouse functions in the department including picking, cutting, re-spooling and packing wire / cable.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Load and set-up wire/cable onto machines
Cut / re-spool wire/cable per customer specifications
Follow all work procedures for pulling material, cutting of cable, and in-process inspections
Report problems with quality, processes, equipment and materials to Team Leader
Provide hands on job training to coworkers as assigned
Maintains safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules and regulations
Perform other duties as requested by Team Leader, Production Supervisor or Manager
PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
Manual dexterity and good eyesight are required for completing orders.
Ability to lift up to 70 pounds independently.
Must be able to stand for long periods of time.
REQUIREMENTS:
Carefully read and interpret documents such as: work orders, wire and cable specifications and procedures to ensure order is completed correctly.
Perform basic math functions - add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
High School Diploma or (GED) equivalent
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Must be available and willing to work overtime and weekends as needed to satisfy customer needs.
