Order Clerk, Sr. receives and processes orders for materials and merchandise. Utilizes order tracking and CRM systems to process orders, record prices, delivery dates, inventory status, maintain customer information and other data related to each transaction. Being an Order Clerk, Sr. confirms orders, updates shipping status, and notifies customers of any backorder or delivery delays. Researches and resolves order errors and updates the system. Additionally, Order Clerk, Sr. may prepare packing lists or other order-related documentation. Requires a high school diploma or equivalent. Typically reports to a supervisor. The Order Clerk, Sr. works under moderate supervision. Gaining or has attained full proficiency in a specific area of discipline. Researches responses with sales, keep records of customer interactions and transactions, recording details of inquiries, complaints, and comments, as well as actions taken, determine charges for product requests / usage, collaborate with Accounts Receivable on invoice disputes / discrepancies, take appropriate action required to resolve dispute, prepare product or service reports by collecting and analyzing customer information, implement and support Quality initiatives throughout Customer Service workflow, implement procedures to maintain accurate inventory records in the ERP system through proper billing and replenishment processes
Required Qualifications
minimum 1 year of Order Entry, Data Entry, or Order Processing experience
comfortable with Microsoft Office and operating multiple systems)
2 years in a Customer Service role (retail, hospitality, front desk,
interaction with Customers)
High School Diploma
