Order Clerk, Sr. jobs in High Point, NC

The Production Scheduler interfaces with Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Client Services to develop and implement optimized production schedules to meet customer delivery dates on all orders. These schedules must meet changing customer requirements and yet provide enough response time to Manufacturing and suppliers considering impact on inventory.

• Review released orders and determine committed ship date (CSD) to be scheduled in Netsuite. Taking into account:
• Production capacity
• Inventory parts availability
• Customer shipment requirements
• Communicate to Director of Manufacturing, Production Manager and Purchasing to facilitate the flow of orders.
• Review alerts in Netsuite, research order status, and respond to Order Update Alerts, adding team notes for communication.
• Review open order report.
• Coordinate production capacity with the Director of Manufacturing,
• Level schedule work centers to approved load capacity, using tools to show load on individual work centers.
• Preparation of various manufacturing reports
• Communicate using electronic communication like Email, Slack, Netsuite Notes.
• Use existing guidelines to solve a variety of problems, escalating when appropriate.
• You monitor your own work to ensure expectations of your role are met.

Required skills and experience:

• Be organized and proactive on schedule completion.
• Initiative to identify problems and suggest improvements to the process.
• Knowledge of products, procedures, processes, and standards
• Intermediate level of Excel.
• Able to handle frequent interruptions, meet tight deadlines, and handle conflict in an effective manner
