Entry Order Clerk/Customer Service Representative

Entry level position in a fast paced administrative setting performing data entry and customer service support with an emphasis on order processing, invoicing, telephone, email communication and product information management.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Receive and accurately process Distributor, Dealer and Consumer orders through various outlets and webstore platforms
• On a daily basis- Answer promptly all e-mails and telephone inquiries
• Generate work orders and packing slips for orders and deliver to proper personnel for fulfillment
• Liase with the shipping and receiving department to ascertain the status of orders
• Answer customer questions, catalog requests and warranty items; direct customers to web store for purchases
• Become familiar with the payment terms, discounts and order policies that pertain to each customer
• Process dealer applications and credit references
• Maintain a log of incoming orders and report totals to appropriate persons
• Interface with production manager and shipping manager to assist customers with order follow-up and status inquiries
• Monitor and maintain marketing policies, price lists and product updates as they relate to customer purchasing and payment terms
• Interface with accounting to determine which orders may be released to production
• Participate in dealer and distributor mailings and initial contact packages, catalogs, press releases and other correspondence
• Track and process donation inquiries and submit to account manager for approval
• Follow established departmental policies, procedures, and objectives
• Uses proper QC, and company established forms
• Performs miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Required

• Proficient in Microsoft office applications
• Basic understanding of warehouse operations
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
• Excellent customer service skills
• Ability to interpret a variety of instructions- furnished in oral and written form
• Ability to understand, follow, and maintain quality and safety procedures
• Knowledge of basic office equipment operation and maintenance
• Ability to multitask and take initiative when necessary
• Ability to read, sort, check, count, and verify numbers
• Ability to perform simple arithmetic
• Ability to detect problems and report information to appropriate personnel

Education and Experience

• 2 years' minimum experience in an office or administrative role
• 2 years' in a customer service role
• Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook
• High School Diploma or Equivalent

Pay: $34,320.00 - $35,360.00 per year
