This requires obtaining application knowledge while working with architects, data modelers, and application developers.• Ensures the performance of the databases and application code from development to production.• Installs and migrates object changes through multiple test environments and production.• Works on complex projects with software design engineers.• Develops and implements database recovery plans and procedures.• Installs, upgrades, and tests database software.• Works on multiple projects simultaneously which span multiple application releases.• Maintains database and systems servers to current patch levels and works with developers to ensure compatibility with the application code base.• Maintains systems that support application development and data analysis.• Serves as System Administrator for database and web-tier application servers.
