Matrix Providers is hiring an Optometrist to join our team of talented professionals who provide health care services to our Military Service Members and their families at the Naval Medicine Readiness & Training Unit Portsmouth, Kittery, ME

• Setting: Optometry Division within the Occupational Health Department
• Compensation: $85.00 - $92.00 per hour
• Sign On Bonus: Up to $10,000 sign-on bonus eligible!
• Schedule: Monday - Friday, 40 hours per week
• No Nights
• No weekends

Requirements: The Optometrist must have and meet the following:

• Degree: Doctor of Optometry.
• Education: Graduate from a school or college approved by the Accreditation Council on Optometric Education (ACOE) of the American Optometric Association.
• Certification: Possess a certification to use Therapeutic Pharmaceutical Agents.
• Experience: Preferred experience with post-operative refractive surgery to include familiarity with Excimer laser, photorefractive keratectomy (PRK) and Laser-Assisted in situ Keratomileusis (LASIK), patient selection, and co-management of refractive surgery patients.
• Licensure: Current, full, active, and unrestricted license to practice as an optometrist.
