Optometrist provides primary care and medical treatment to patients with visual system disorders and diseases. Examines patients' eyes to detect and diagnose vision problems, diseases, and other conditions, such as diabetes or hypertension. Being an Optometrist develops treatment plans and prescribes eyeglasses, contact lenses, and/or medication to treat eye disorders. Educates patients on proper eye care and treatment plans. Compass Medical Provider is seeking experienced Optometrists to provide precise vision screenings for the Idaho National Guard.
1 year experience and attention to detail.
Must be able to stand for long periods of time to screen 100 soldiers with our team.
Vision screenings are typically during drill weekend as needed and the refraction exams are conducted using a Phoropter. Forms will be provided for completion of each script.
