Who you are:

As an Operations Unit Manager, you are our leader, ensuring your team of managers have the necessary support and guidance to deliver operations services and products efficiently to our internal and external customers. In this role, you will be responsible for managing and facilitating multiple departments within bank operations. More than that, this role is about developing people and doing it with integrity, caring and excellence in mind.

What you’ll do:

• Ensure that assigned bank operations areas are adequately managed, staffed, and that all personnel are trained
• Coordinate with managers as required in order to maintain workflow across various departments
• Review and recommend new methods and procedures to make daily operations in the areas more efficient
• Keep informed of new developments that would affect operations, and recommend changes as necessary
• Maintain good customer relations, acting in a public relations capacity in dealing with other departments, corporate customers and other banks
• Help managers to resolve more complex problems
• Prepare budget expenditures as necessary to support operational services, explain variances of the forecast at periodic intervals
• Ensure compliance with Bank policy and Federal and State laws and regulations applicable to this area
• Ensure that internal controls are in place and functioning properly
• Perform all other duties as assigned

What you’ll need:

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in bank operations
• 7 years of bank operations experience
• Demonstrated ability to lead a large or cross-functional team
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Proficient in Microsoft applications
