We are currently seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Cleaning Team Leader to join our team. As a cleaning team leader you will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and sanitation standards in various settings. This is a great opportunity for individuals with experience in commercial cleaning, housekeeping management, or custodial work to showcase their skills and contribute to creating a clean and welcoming environment.
Responsibilities:
- Clean and sanitize designated areas, including but not limited to offices, common areas, restrooms, and guest rooms
- Dust furniture, sweep, mop, and vacuum floors
- Empty trash receptacles and replace liners
- Manage inventory of cleaning supplies and report any shortages or equipment malfunctions
- Launder linens and towels as needed
- Perform deep cleaning tasks as assigned
- Follow established safety protocols and use personal protective equipment (PPE) when necessary
- Adhere to company policies and procedures regarding cleanliness and hygiene standards
- Oversee other employees and ensure polici and proced are being met
- Quality check other employees work
- Manage storage unit, keeping track of inventory and linens
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in commercial cleaning or housekeeping management is preferred
- Knowledge of proper cleaning techniques and use of cleaning equipment
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively
- Leadership skills to supervise and train other cleaning staff if required
- Basic understanding of hospitality industry standards is a plus
