    As directed, the Warehouse Specialist performs a variety of warehousing duties that require an understanding of the establishment's storage plan.
    Work involves most of the following:
    • Verifying materials (or merchandise) against receiving documents
    • Noting and reporting discrepancies and obvious damages
    • Routing materials to prescribed storage locations
    • Storing, stacking, or palletizing materials in accordance with prescribed storage methods, rearranging and taking inventory of stored materials
    • Examining stored materials and reporting deterioration and damage
    • Removing material from storage and preparing it for shipment.
    Other duties include:- Perform quality control checks on incoming and outgoing shipments- Ensure accurate order fulfillment and timely delivery of products- Collaborate with warehouse supervisor to maintain inventory accuracy and organization- Utilize RF scanner to track inventory movements and update system records- Operate heavy equipment, such as forklifts, to safely transport materials within the warehouse- Assist with picking, packing, and labeling of orders- Maintain a clean and organized work area- Use mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot and resolve equipment issues
    Requirements:- Three years prior experience working in a distribution center or warehouse environment- Proficiency in using RF scanners for inventory management- Valid forklift certification and experience operating heavy equipment- Strong attention to detail and ability to perform quality control checks- Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physical tasks as required for materials handling- Excellent organizational skills and ability to prioritize tasks effectively
