Operations Specialist jobs in Anderson, SC

We are seeking a detail-oriented Operations Specialist to join our team. As an Operations Specialist, you will be responsible for ensuring accurate purchase order processing and managing the procurement process effectively. You will collaborate closely with vendors, suppliers, and internal stakeholders to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of goods and services. The ideal candidate has strong analytical skills, excellent communication abilities, and a proven track record of managing purchase orders.

Key Responsibilities

•          Review purchase requests and determine the appropriate procurement method
•          Process purchase orders accurately and in a timely manner
•          Track and monitor the status of purchase orders to ensure on-time delivery
•          Review shipping documents for complete and accurate information
•          Develop and maintain relationships with vendors and suppliers
•          Resolve any discrepancies or issues that arise during the procurement process

•          Proven experience in purchase ordering or a similar role
•          Bachelor’s degree a plus
•          Strong knowledge of procurement processes and best practices
•          Excellent organizational and time management skills
•          Attention to detail and accuracy in processing purchase orders
•          Experience required in SAP Business One and MS Office suite

•   Full-time (40 hours M-F)
