Role:

The role holder will be responsible for defining an overall annual sales plan and managing its delivery ensuring sales objectives are met.

The Sales Manager leads 3 Field Operation Managers.

Main Responsibilities:

Strategic planning

• Define the sales plan on national level, setting the direction in relation with budget requirement. Monitor implementation to maximise sales by defining sales promotions and campaigns in line with the pricing structure.
• Define and implement national and regional-based (Dealer level) sales plans in line with budget
• Define and agree objectives for new vehicles sales per channel and vehicle stocks.

Commercial deliveries

• Drive sales performance by setting and monitoring targets against the area business plan of each Dealer
• Control commercial results and propose counter measures to achieve targets. Develop continuous performance improvement approach.
• Monitor and evaluate sales trends and general market conditions and advise appropriate actions

Relationship management

• Build and maintain a strong professional relationship with the Honda dealers in Switzerland.
• Lead and coach field managers to assure excellent quantitative and qualitative
  results of each Dealer
• Develop internal and external stakeholder relationships at senior and national
  levels in order to ensure that the best service is delivered to customers/dealers
• Follow, prepare and deliver reports to HM&HME
• Build strong relationship with Dealer Network based on partnership and mutual trust
• Contribute to a cross-functional team during the Budget phases by respecting
  guidelines in content and timings
• Ability to collaborate and share best practices with other Honda branches and build strong relationships with HME stakeholders
• Develop and maintain a strong department communication and good coordination

Stock and Inventory Management

• Take responsibility for accurate forecasting and target setting to ensure maximum performance of the division
• Follow Niguri and procurement to achieve targets

Qualifications, skills and experience required:

• Higher education with solid experience in a similar position preferably in the automotive sector
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
• Strong leadership and ability to take initiatives.
• Dynamic and result-oriented with hands-on mentality and keen to transfer the enthusiasm to the dealer network.
• Flexibility and adaptability in changing environment
• Fluent in French, German and English
