Operations Research Analyst III
SUMMARY / OBJECTIVE:
Naval Surface Warfare Center Dahlgren Division Dam Neck Activity (NSWCDD DNA) Systems Engineering provides support for Integrated Training Systems (ITS) and serves as the Software Support Activity (SSA), In-Service Engineering Agent (ISEA), Cybersecurity (Cyber), Safety, Test and Evaluation (T&E), and Readiness support for assigned systems. These system assignments include the hardware, software, subsystems, and elements that comprise the specific system. These activities are conducted in support of the United States (U.S.) Navy, Multi-National and Multi-Agency Naval and Department of Defense (DOD) sponsors. Modeling and Simulation (M&S) is a key capability that supports test and evaluation, training and readiness, and performance assessment. M&S is a core element of this support contract.

This job operates primarily in a professional office environment in person on a hybrid basis. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, and photocopiers.

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work:
The typical workday is eight hours in length. Some flexibility in hours is allowed, with concurrence from the supervisor. The employee must be available during the “core” work hours of 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. and must account for the hours in a pay period to maintain full-time status.
Telework:
This position allows for up to 15% telework.
Travel:
Up to 10% travel may be required.
