SUMMARY OF POSITION
The IT Operations Analyst is responsible for analyzing, modifying, and evaluating existing or proposed hardware, software, and business processes. An essential part of this role is acting as the IT liaison between the Manufacturing Engineers, Automation teams, business stakeholders and the IT Service Delivery teams.

JOB REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor’s degree in business, Software Development, Computer Information Systems, Engineering, Operations Management and/or Accounting
- 3 years of experience with multiple IT Service Delivery technology areas.
- Completion of multiple full life cycle software implementation
- Understanding of control system architecture and technology selection, system functional specification, system configuration (DCS, PLC, HMI), documented testing, and contractor management.
- Understanding of Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES) and Manufacturing Operations Management Solutions.
- Understands and utilizes sound project management principles and practices.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group, executives, managers, and other subject matter experts.
- Self-motivated and requires minimum supervision.
- Ability to engage in multiple initiatives simultaneously.
- Ability to travel abroad.
- Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office tools

This is a fast-paced work environment with consistent pressure to complete duties as outlined above which requires ability to manage multiple projects at a detailed level and provide support to many internal departments in a fast-changing environment. Many duties listed above are time-sensitive and have strict deadlines for completion.

Responsibilities
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
- Serves as the conduit between the customer community (internal and external customers) and the IT Service Delivery teams (Network, Server/Datacenter, Security).
- Designs, debugs, and tests new hardware software, and business processes
- Coordinates the implementation of best business practices, hardware and software installations, and training.
- Develops procedures for implementation, configuration, programming, and maintenance of complex computer systems.
- Refines and validates (determine feasibility, correctness, and completeness) end-user’s requirements.
- Authors and approves specification documents.
- Provides user education for business process design and improvements.
- Provides input for the design and construction of test cases and business scenarios.
- Stays abreast of the latest technological and functional improvements and advancements for the given area of expertise.
- Collaborates with developers and other subject matter experts to establish the technical vision and analyze tradeoffs between software usability and performance.
- Works with vendors to generate proposals as needed for major projects and create executive-level presentations to solicit approval for large projects.
- Provides timely, concise status communications, both written and oral (ex. written reports and participation in regularly scheduled team meetings)
- Develops comprehensive systems documentation to be used for projects and ongoing training.
- Supports mobility and relevant software as it pertains to the organization.
- Diagnoses and solves problems escalated by End User Support Team.
- Leads project teams for IT and cross-functional teams.
- Works on other IT Projects as assigned by the manager.
