Operations Research Analysis Supervisor jobs in Pearl City, HI

POSITION PURPOSE:

This position gathers and analyzes data for use to improve operational efficiencies throughout the company.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

• Gathers information and data from all divisions through interviews with employees, supervisors, and managers and from existing policies and procedures.

• Prepares and presents reports, identifying operational deficiencies.

• Based on data collected, recommends opportunities for improvement, and assists management to create, develop and implement methods and procedures based on recommendations.

• Performing all other duties as assigned by management.

The individual must possess the following knowledge, skills and abilities and be able to explain and demonstrate that he or she can perform the essential functions of the job, with or without reasonable accommodation, using some other combination of skills and abilities.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Highly organized
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Accuracy, attention to detail, initiative/follow through, listening & understanding,

• Activities are performed in an environmentally controlled office setting subject to prolonged periods of sitting at a desk, working on a computer.

QUALIFICATIONS

Education:

• 4-year college degree required

Experience:

• Minimum 3 – 5 years of relevant work experience

• Experience in the collection and analysis of data

• Ability to meet deadlines and manage multiple priorities.

• Proficient with Microsoft Office products and other related software

OTHER

Regular attendance in conformance with the standards, which may be established by WOA from time to time, is essential to the successful performance of this position. Employees with irregular attendance will be subject to disciplinary action, up to and including termination of employment.
