Assign and oversee corrective maintenance i.e.: troubleshooting, work assessments, parts requirement determination, repair, inspection, and functional testing of all site electrical, instrument and control systems, site security system, motor operated valves and distributed control systems, fire systems, contactors, protective relays, circuit breakers, disconnects, lighting, transformers, motors and cabling systems authorized under Level of Repair (LOR) for Strategic Petroleum Reserve (SPR) equipment following approved procedures. Ensures approved maintenance policy/procedural requirements are implemented and followed. Assures that safety and environmental rules and regulations are being followed, and obtains clearance permits; e.g., safe work, hot work, confined space, lockout/tagout, when required. Ensures proper and timely preparation of all required work related documentation. Qualifications
REQUIRED: Associate Degree in Electrical or Electronics Technology and eight years of experience OR ten years experience in an industrial/petrochemical plant as a Journeyman Craftsman DESIRED: Five years experience as I&E Supervisor CERTIFICATIONS, LICENSES: Valid Class E State Drivers License.
