 Location/Schedule:

Our spacious Lakewood, CO office offers free parking, an on-site gym, and food trucks twice a month! We currently can hire for this position out of the following locations: Lakewood, CO; and nearby areas.  The pay range listed for this position is a good faith and reasonable estimate of the range of possible base compensation at the time of posting.   This position will be a full-time (40 hours a week) commitment for summer 2024. 

Primary Purpose:

The Planning & Analysis Intern is primarily responsible for assisting Department staff with data retrieval, organization of data, compiling reports and dashboards, and monitoring Key Performance Indicators (KPI’s).

 Essential Duties / Responsibilities:

• Update monthly capital project forecast file.
• Assist with preparation of the monthly earning’s and forecast report.
• Build out KPI dashboards and summaries for management review.
• Provide financial analysis and data trend analysis.
• Compile and build metrics around combined financial and operational data points.
• Prepare financial analyses and assist with other ad hoc projects as requested.
• Deal with a wide variety of people with tact, courtesy and professionalism.
• Speak clearly, both in person and by telephone, using a high level of verbal skills and listen carefully.
• Maintain a high regard for personal safety, for the safety of the company assets and employees, and the general public.

 Education:

 High School Diploma.

• Student actively enrolled in Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Accounting or Finance with an expected graduation date December 2024, May 2025, or December 2025

Experience / Specific Knowledge:

 Experience with Microsoft Excel preferred.
