We are seeking a dynamic and energetic leader to join our team as a Director of Hotel Operations at Embassy Suites San Rafael Marin County. This individual will be responsible for supporting all aspects of the operation with emphasis in Food & Beverage, including Banquets, Front of House F&B Operations as well as Culinary. This individual must also have Rooms experience in Housekeeping and Front Office. The Director of Operations will also be responsible for guest and employee satisfaction, financial performance, sales and revenue generation and delivering a return on investment. About the role:
As our Director of Operations, you will have the autonomy to run our hotel as if it were your own business. We are seeking someone with a proven track record of high performance in profitability, guest satisfaction improvement and employee engagement. This is a hands-on role that requires excellent leadership skills and a passion for delivering exceptional guest experiences.
What we're looking for:
Minimum of 5 years of leadership experience in a hotel environment
Similar brand experience and/or Hilton experience highly preferred
F&B and Rooms Background, Highly Preferred.
Flexible schedule availability, including evenings, nights, and weekends
Your key responsibilities:
Responsible for varying hotel operational departments
Budgets and reviews, researches and analyzes department revenues and expenses.
Maintains and monitors occupancy data, and assists in maximizing F&B revenue.
Maximizes efficiencies and looks for opportunities to improve operations.
Reviews market trends and proposes necessary changes.
Ensures that effective communication is consistently disseminating information and changes to supervisors, front-line team members, and other departments when needed.
Consistently exceed revenue and guest expectations
Leads change effectively and provide clear direction to achieve our mission
Inspires, trains, and develops our team for promotion
Create a guest service-oriented culture with a "can-do" attitude
Builds strong relationships with guests, groups, and personnel from other departments
Resolves conflicts and provide coaching on conflict de-escalation
Performs other duties as assigned by management.
