  • Job Description: The Role The Director, Alternatives Investments is a member of the AI Investor Relations team and is accountable for investor servicing across a wide range of product structures, including Limited Partnerships, REIT, BDCs, Interval Funds and Crypto. You will work across the organization, collaborating with Asset Management, Legal, Risk, and the Fidelity distribution channels on product launches, and build processes specific to servicing, record keeping, tax reporting, analytics, and investor communications. Refine, improve and drive the service business plans for Fidelity’s alternative fund servicing strategy to improve long-term marketability Provide support to sales and relationship management functions with alternatives subject matter expertise Provide product support to client service functions for client operational queries, source from specialists within the organization as needed Identify and work with Fidelity channels to remediate product/service gaps, overlaps and deficiencies Act as a source of knowledge and insight on industry initiatives and plan for long-term product improvements based on emerging market trends and themes The Skills & Expertise You Bring Experience using the Advent Geneva suite of applications Bachelors or equivalent with 8 years of financial industry experience 5 years of Alternative Investments experience Experience in an agile model is helpful Analytical and strategic mentality, hands on and detail oriented Direct managerial experience highly desired, role could be filled as an individual contributor or as a people manager. Lead projects and work activities by developing service models to support alternative products, services, processes or technological advancements Provide sophisticated analysis and solves a variety of problems, with functional/process implications across channels, typically of complex scope Makes decisions based on long-term view of trends, issues and business implications Identifies capabilities required for team and develops plan to reduce capability gaps Strategic problem solver with a passion for investment products and a deep understanding of the evolving driven environment Provide line management for day-to-day operations, including leadership via mentorship, feedback on performance, observation and supervision for the management of a team of highly skilled operational associates.
