Operations Director directs and manages the day-to-day activities of an organization's operations, typically through subordinate operations managers. Additionally, Operations Director coordinates operations with other functions. Requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a director.     Reporting to the President, the successful candidate will be responsible for the management of the organization’s manufacturing systems, with the goal of being the premier manufacturing group in the industry. The Director, Operations will oversee all areas Operations including Machining, Assembly & Test departments.



    Responsibilities

    ·        Responsible for the overall direction, management and results of departments and carries out responsibilities in accordance with policies and applicable laws
    ·        Minimizes product costs while meeting customer value requirements
    ·        Directs LEAN efforts to minimize the cost of quality including scrap, rework, and field failures
    ·        Interfaces with customers, vendors, subcontractors and ensures the organization is in compliance with company policies and procedures
    ·        Further develops and implements performance metrics to ensure on-time-delivery of production to customers

     

     

     




    Qualifications

    ·        Bachelor’s Degree;ME /IE;10-15 years of related experience 
    ·        Prefer Six Sigma Green Belt/Black Belt & Continuous Improvement expertise
    ·        Effectively make presentations;respond and relate to issues, opportunities, and customer challenges
    ·        Ability to respond and relate to customers, regulatory agencies, and members of the business community
