Operations Clerk provides clerical/administrative support to the operations group. Enters, compiles, and validates data using simple math as needed. Being a Operations Clerk performs clerical production activities such as proof, reconciliation, and posting. Prepares basic correspondence, forms and other documents as needed. Additionally, Operations Clerk may help research and resolve basic operational problems. Requires a high school diploma or equivalent. Typically reports to a supervisor. The Operations Clerk works under the close direction of senior personnel in the functional area. Possesses a moderate understanding of general aspects of the job.     Full Job Description: Performs a variety of clerical duties, data entry, process documentation, scanning, archiving, make copies, send out certified mail, etc. 

    Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

    ·         Be attentive to detail on processes, procedures and associated data entry and paperwork etc.
    ·         Be prepared to support both operations and payroll department. 
    ·         Work closely with operations team and drivers
    ·         Assist with onboarding drivers by providing training on paperwork and requirements.
    ·         Breakdown of driver’s paperwork for review and process. 
    ·         Make copies of driver manifest for payroll department
    ·         Scan and archived documentation with corresponding order number under TMW Software 
    ·         Retrieve interchanges from terminal portal as needed.
    ·         File POD, BOL, interchanges, and other documents daily. 
    ·         Process late slips, review, and input information into excel spreadsheet.
    ·         Send out certify mail as need it to meet deadlines.
    ·         Assist with phones and various administrative and clerical duties as needed.
     

    Experience:
     
    ·         Minimum of 1-2 years of data entry
    ·         Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel.
    ·         Experience in drayage trucking is a plus.
     
     
    Qualifications:

    ·         Excellent verbal and written skills.
    ·         Proficient in Excel and Word. 
    ·         Ability to work independently, in a fast-paced environment.
    ·         Attention to detail.
    ·         Ability to prioritize and multi-task.
    ·         Ability to work over-time during peak season.
