Operations Clerk provides clerical/administrative support to the operations group. Enters, compiles, and validates data using simple math as needed. Being a Operations Clerk performs clerical production activities such as proof, reconciliation, and posting. Prepares basic correspondence, forms and other documents as needed. Additionally, Operations Clerk may help research and resolve basic operational problems. Requires a high school diploma or equivalent. Typically reports to a supervisor. The Operations Clerk works under the close direction of senior personnel in the functional area. Possesses a moderate understanding of general aspects of the job. OPERATIONS CLERK – CHARLESTON SERVICE CENTER (CHARLESTON, WV)
We are currently recruiting in our Charleston Service Center, Charleston, WV, for an Operations Clerk.
Duties and Responsibilities
Responsibilities:
- Enters timesheets into timekeeping system.
- Updates information in Company mapping system.
- Assists with customer collection activities.
- Updates customer information service records.
- Orders supplies, classifies invoices, and performs other clerical duties.
Requirements:
- Requires a high school diploma or equivalent and two years related experience; an Associate’s degree or equivalent from a two-year college may be considered in lieu of experience.
- The ability to successfully deal with customers and work in a team environment.
- Good verbal and written communication skills; data entry accuracy; and ability to analyze information.
- Proficiency with various computer applications such as Excel, Word, PowerPoint.
Preferences:
- An Associate’s degree in related field.
