Operations Clerk provides clerical/administrative support to the operations group. Enters, compiles, and validates data using simple math as needed. Being a Operations Clerk performs clerical production activities such as proof, reconciliation, and posting. Prepares basic correspondence, forms and other documents as needed. Additionally, Operations Clerk may help research and resolve basic operational problems. Requires a high school diploma or equivalent. Typically reports to a supervisor. The Operations Clerk works under the close direction of senior personnel in the functional area. Possesses a moderate understanding of general aspects of the job.     Deposit Operations Clerk II - IRA/HSA Administrator - Bath

    As a Deposit Operations Clerk II, you will be required to exercise some independent judgment under moderate supervision. You will be required to complete all aspects of IRA and HSA account administration, remain compliant with all applicable laws and regulations, monitor and code account transactions appropriately for reporting purposes to the IRS ensuring proper documentation has been received, and complete customer communications with regards to retirement and health savings accounts as necessary. You will be responsible for other Deposit Operations duties as necessary.

    Educational Requirements
    • Professional attributes including; professional appearance and dependability through a commitment to punctuality and attendance
    • Demonstrated ability in providing service at an exceptional level
    • Ability to efficiently operate and utilize general office equipment and technology, and demonstrates an eagerness to learn
    • Capable of performing accurate data entry, transaction processing, account maintenance and inquiries using a variety of software
    • At least 1 year banking experience with knowledge of general banking practices
    • Skill in business, finance and/or accounting
    • Strong attention to detail and demonstrates abstract thinking
    • Ability to assume responsibility, display initiative, exercise good judgement and work under minimal supervision
    • Ability to prioritize, handle multiple tasks and work independently, self-motivate
    • Ability to read/write English and to understand instructions.
    • Excellent written/oral communication and organizational skills
    • Must be team-oriented, contribute to a positive working environment and possess a cooperative attitude
    • Basic IRA Administration knowledge
    • Basic HSA Administration knowledge
