Being a Operations Clerk performs clerical production activities such as proof, reconciliation, and posting. Prepares basic correspondence, forms and other documents as needed. Additionally, Operations Clerk may help research and resolve basic operational problems. Requires a high school diploma or equivalent. Typically reports to a supervisor. The Operations Clerk works under the close direction of senior personnel in the functional area. Possesses a moderate understanding of general aspects of the job.     Duties include    :
    • Receive incoming shipments and verify the contents against the purchase orders
    - Unload, inspect, and put away received materials in designated storage areas- Prepare and package outgoing shipments, ensuring accuracy and proper documentation
    • Operate warehouse equipment such as reach trucks, order pickers, RF scanners, and pallet jacks
    • Maintain inventory accuracy by conducting regular cycle counts and reconciling discrepancies
    • Collaborate with other departments to ensure timely and accurate order fulfillment
    • Utilize warehouse management system (WMS) and AS400 to track inventory movements
    • Maintain a clean and organized work area

    Skills:
    • Three (3) years of experience in logistics/warehouse operations and administrative support services.
    • Proficiency in operating warehouse equipment such as reach trucks, order pickers, RF scanners, and pallet jacks
    - Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS) and AS400- Ability to perform basic math calculations for inventory management
    • Strong attention to detail to ensure accuracy in receiving and shipping processes
    • Excellent organizational skills to maintain inventory control in a fast-paced environment
    • Knowledge of distribution center operations and best practices for shipping and receiving
    • Ability to lift heavy objects and stand for extended periods of time
