    Summary of Job Duties:Summary:
    The Director of Systems Programming and Database Services will manage the Administrative Computing department of UA - Pulaski Technical College. The Administrative Computing department is responsible for maintaining databases used across the campus, integrating with third party vendor software, and supporting users that access these systems.

    General Responsibilities:
    *Provide supervision and leadership to Administrative Computing.
    *Manage the annual budget for Administrative Computing.
    *Work as the onsite project manager for administrative computing projects.
    *Create and maintain departmental policy and procedure documentation in order to standardize processing within the department.
    *Work hand in hand with other departments across the institution to make sure that their software needs are being met.
    *Work with other departments to vet and onboard new software solutions.
    *Manage the sunsetting of old software packages that the institution has used in the past.
    *Maintain / manage security roles in different software systems used by the institution.
    *Work with professional development to train users on software systems needed.Qualifications:Required Qualifications:
    • Bachelor's Degree in computer science, mathematics, or a related field.
    • Three years of experience in programming, systems analysis, or database administration.

    Other job-related education and/or experience may be substituted for all or part of these basic requirements upon approval of the Chief Information Officer and the interview committee.

    Preferred Qualifications:
    • Higher Education experience
    • 2 years in a supervisory/leadership role
