Description:

OR Tech First Assist - DAY

Education: High School Diploma or GED required
Experience: 1-2 years Experience of proficiency in the role of a surgical technologist for major surgeries required; 1-2 years Successful experience as a CST/CFA F preferred

Licenses and Certifications:
ACLS - BCLS required
Graduate of an accredited school of Surgical First Assist required
CST - Certified Surgical Technologist Qualifications for a CST/CFA should include but not limited to: Certification in CST/CFA. preferred

Skills: Breast/Plastic & C-Sections, knowledge in proper exposure techniques, excellence in suturing and closing of surgical sites, Demonstrates effective means of hemostasis.

Call Required: 12 hr in house call, day shift at least once per 4 weeks.
*This facility requires that all employees have the Flu vaccine*

Pay: $55.00 per hour
