Operating Room Services Director jobs in Kansas
Operating Room Services Director oversees the daily operations of the surgery department. Responsible for the procurement and maintenance of equipment and supplies, staffing and training of employees, and budgeting. Responsibilities
Providence Medical Center is looking for a per diem, day shiftOperating Room/Surgical Techwho is empathetic and has good communication skills. We have a collaborative culture focused on positive outcomes, opportunities for professional growth and so much more. Our OR/Surg Tech duties include but are not limited to:
- responsible for the preparation of sterile supplies and instruments for each assigned procedure
- maintaining sterile field during case
- providing surgeon with sterile supplies and instruments during assigned procedures
- able to work well under stressful and emergency situations
- able to act quickly and accurately
- some assistance in sterile processing may be necessary
Qualifications
Education and Work Experience:
- graduation from an ORT training program within 6 months of hire or on the job training with a minimum of 2 years experience surgical setting, preferred
- current BLS (AHA) certificate upon hire and maintain current
- experience in scrubbing minor and major procedures in various surgical specialties (i.e. General, Ortho, Urology and GYN)
