Online Pharmacist compounds and dispenses prescribed drugs per physician's instructions for online or mail order subscription orders. Manages a high volume of prescriptions. Being an Online Pharmacist does not typically interact with customers. May supervise technicians and oversee operational activities including data entry, order fulfillment, and shipping. Additionally, Online Pharmacist requires a doctorate degree in pharmacy (Pharm.D.). Typically reports to a manager or supervisor. Requires Registered Pharmacist (RPh). Responsibilities for the Pharmacist position:- Oversee dispensing of Free Products
- Receiving physician prescription orders and evaluation for appropriate dosage, potential drug interactions, route of administration
- Supervise Pharmacy Technicians
- Communicate with physician offices, patients., and call center staff
- Provide patient counseling, education and monitoring for Rx products and exercise good pharmacy practice
- Special Projects as business needs require
- Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned
Requirements for this position:- Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy or PharmD degree
- Kansas Pharmacist License
- 2 years of recent experience as a pharmacist
- Retail or Specialty Pharmacy experience
- Demonstrated computer skills
- Exceptional customer service skills
- Duties require professional verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to maintain a clean organized work environment.
Hours for the Pharmacist position:- Monday to Friday, 8am-4:30pm (rotating Saturdays 8am-1pm)
- Training will be Monday to Friday, 8am-4:30pm for two weeks
Compensation for this position:- $60 per hour
