Online Pharmacist compounds and dispenses prescribed drugs per physician's instructions for online or mail order subscription orders. Manages a high volume of prescriptions. Being an Online Pharmacist does not typically interact with customers. May supervise technicians and oversee operational activities including data entry, order fulfillment, and shipping. Additionally, Online Pharmacist requires a doctorate degree in pharmacy (Pharm.D.). Typically reports to a manager or supervisor. Requires Registered Pharmacist (RPh). - Previous experience in Long Term Care preferred
- Strong analytical and critical thinking skills
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to work independently, accurately, and efficiently
- Must be multi-tasking and reliable
- Computer literate, knowledge of Frameworks LTC system, PLUS
