Overview:

• 🌟 Lead and manage the operations of the Med Surg Oncology nursing unit for quality improvement and patient satisfaction.
• 🤝 Act as a liaison with patients, physicians, and employees to maintain high-quality patient care.
• 📈 Ensure staff performance and departmental responsibilities are met per policies and procedures.

Qualifications:

• 🩺 BSN required
• 🩺 BLS, ACLS, OCN certification required
• 📊 3-5 years of Staff Level Med-Surg Oncology RN experience & 2-3 years of leadership within Med-Surg Oncology unit.
• 🏥 Recent acute care experience is a must.
• 📈 Ideally Manager experience but Director experience preferred.

Responsibilities:

• 📋 Plan, direct, and manage department and staff for quality service on a 24-hour basis.
• 🏥 Meet JCAHO Standards, comply with corporate policies, manage supplies and equipment, and promote internal and external customer satisfaction.
• 💼 Ensure appropriate resource management and maximize productivity while minimizing costs.
