Oil and Gas Field Supervisor supervises field staff that maintains and services oil and gas production facilities. Oversees testing and monitoring of wells, pumps, storage facilities and other equipment. Being an Oil and Gas Field Supervisor is responsible for safety of staff and production facilities. Requires a bachelor's degree. Additionally, Oil and Gas Field Supervisor typically reports to a manager or head of a unit/department. The Oil and Gas Field Supervisor supervises a group of primarily para-professional level staffs. May also be a level above a supervisor within high volume administrative/ production environments. Makes day-to-day decisions within or for a group/small department. Has some authority for personnel actions. To be an Oil and Gas Field Supervisor typically requires 3-5 years experience in the related area as an individual contributor. Thorough knowledge of functional area and department processes.     As a Heating Service Technician, you will be responsible for the day-to-day servicing of our customers heating equipment. Your goal will be to troubleshoot and perform diagnostic activities regarding service equipment within established policies and procedures.

    Your Role:

    • Maintain, troubleshoot and install oil and propane parts and equipment.
    • Troubleshoot and resolve problems that occur by reviewing diagnostics and using the proper tools to complete repairs.
    • Provide final inspections of systems once repairs are completed to ensure all equipment is operating safely.
    • Complete appropriate daily paperwork for each service call.
    • Maintain service truck parts inventory.
    • Ensure the service truck is in good working order and reliable.
    • Perform other duties as required to maintain and enhance departmental productivity.
    • Rotational on call shifts required.

    Your Skills:

    • A solid mechanical aptitude.
    • Ability to work well with others; good organization and communication skills; attention to detail and strong customer service.
    • Frequent driving, climbing in and out of vehicle and working in confined spaces. Some heavy lifting.
    • Ability to install various types of heating equipment.
    • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and progress though the daily workload efficiently.
    • Strong decision-making skills

    Your Experience:

    • A valid Propane or natural gas license. Nora Certification is an asset.
    • Knowledge of wiring and plumbing considered an asset.
    • Previous heating technician experience preferred.
