Manages or administers accounting processes including budgeting, invoice processing, employee expense reports, reimbursements, petty cash, and time tracking. Additionally, Office Services Professional may support HR activities or initiatives with employee onboarding and interview coordination, and training. Performs company database or system administration tasks, including data input, reporting, user support, and upgrades. Resolves day-to-day problems and coordinates with stakeholders to obtain solutions. Requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a supervisor or manager. The Office Services Professional work is closely managed. Works on projects/matters of limited complexity in a support role.     Successful performance of program management support services requires a wide variety of duties including research, analysis, systems thinking, data entry, writing, document preparation, executive brief preparation, editing, scanning, document management, copying, phone calls, faxing, filing, and other duties as necessary to complete the assigned tasks.

    Qualifications:
    • Provides consultant support to help identify the most appropriate measures and monitors to improve quality and performance.
    • Collaborates with leadership and management to improve sustainability.
    • Works with other individuals to develop automated systems for tracking improvement (data trending, data dashboards, and balanced scorecards) and for monitoring project progress and completion.
    • Ensures sustainability and spread of efforts directed at improving quality, safety, effectiveness, and efficiency using program management.
    • Plans and conducts analytical studies in support of improvements in organizational structure and efficient staffing levels.
    • Participates in efforts to create a culture of quality, safety, effectiveness, and efficiency by planning and conducting studies directed at identifying optimum staffing and management structures.
    • Uses information to improve quality, safety, effectiveness, and efficiency (informatics)
    • Provides competency and performance standard direction, including providing programmatic direction and guidance in systems redesign activities.
    • Supports the Government in the development and achievement of project milestones within scope, cost, and schedule alignment for projects and programs.
    • Provides program support as a participant in technical assessments, Integrated Product Teams (IPT), and other project working groups.
    • Provides program services regarding consultation, planning, drafting program management and business case analysis documentation, data analytics, and data management.
    • Responds to all customer inquiries and concerns and recommends alternate approaches when customers' request cannot be met.
    Place of Performance:
    This requirement requires contractor personnel to work off-site (remote, i.e., home or contractor's office). Travel to the nearest VA Medical Center is required for onboarding (fingerprinting, PIV picture, PIV card, and GFE). Contractor personnel are usually required to physically access the nearest VA facility when receiving GFE.
