OFFICE SERVICES MANAGER oversees and manages the daily activities of office staff to ensure efficient operations, service delivery and expense control. Develops and implements procedures and policies for all administrative activities. Being an OFFICE SERVICES MANAGER typically manages record-keeping, document preparation, mail distribution, reception, bill or invoice processing, maintenance services, technical support, project coordination/scheduling, and other related internal operations. Oversees the selection of vendors and the purchase of office equipment and supplies. Additionally, OFFICE SERVICES MANAGER coordinates resources to troubleshoot, determine the best solutions, and solve problems. Tracks and analyzes operational costs and monitors budget. Recruits, trains, and coaches office staff to achieve optimal performance. May require a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a head of a unit/department. The OFFICE SERVICES MANAGER manages subordinate staff in the day-to-day performance of their jobs. True first level manager. Ensures that project/department milestones/goals are met and adhering to approved budgets. Has full authority for personnel actions.     Roles/Responsibilities:

    • Maintain overall responsibility for all aspects of cleaning services in a portfolio of accounts. Must be able to work days, and evenings, and be on call, on rotating weekends.
    • Hold meetings with clients, provide feedback to the operations manager and client services department, and follow up in a timely manner to ensure client satisfaction.
    • Lead, manage, coach, and hold employees accountable
    • Be a good representation of the company brand
    • Ensure all accounts are staffed, trained, and operating properly.
    • Perform regular inspections of buildings to ensure that specifications are being met.
    • When permanent employees are on approved leave, coordinate, manage, and train substitutes
    • Correct deficiencies in buildings whenever necessary.
    • Maintain budgetary compliance at all accounts.
    • Scheduling of project work when requested or needed.
    • Applies and enforces all company policies and procedures.
    • Work with the HR Department on disciplinary action and/or termination of employees whenever necessary.
    • Be in constant communication with operations and other departments. Provide feedback throughout the business day.

    Minimum Qualifications:

    • 1 years of management experience required in janitorial operations.
    • Must possess comprehensive knowledge of commercial cleaning operations.
    • Must possess a current driver’s license with a good driving record• Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment and problem solve quickly
    • Must be able to pass a criminal background check
    • Must be a team player and work well with others
    • Must have the ability to communicate effectively with customers, subordinates, and management of all levels within the organization.
    • Must be responsible and have the ability to motivate workers.
    • Ability to prioritize and organize work-related tasks and special projects.
    • Strong organizational skills and multi-tasking abilities.

    Written and verbal communication in English and Spanish is key to this position!

    Communicating throughout the day via email with the operations manager and client services department is an important and large part of the position!

    Proficiency with technology to perform the job: smartphones, tablets, iPad, computers
