OFFICE SERVICES MANAGER oversees and manages the daily activities of office staff to ensure efficient operations, service delivery and expense control. Develops and implements procedures and policies for all administrative activities. Being an OFFICE SERVICES MANAGER typically manages record-keeping, document preparation, mail distribution, reception, bill or invoice processing, maintenance services, technical support, project coordination/scheduling, and other related internal operations. Oversees the selection of vendors and the purchase of office equipment and supplies. Additionally, OFFICE SERVICES MANAGER coordinates resources to troubleshoot, determine the best solutions, and solve problems. Tracks and analyzes operational costs and monitors budget. Recruits, trains, and coaches office staff to achieve optimal performance. May require a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a head of a unit/department. The OFFICE SERVICES MANAGER manages subordinate staff in the day-to-day performance of their jobs. True first level manager. Ensures that project/department milestones/goals are met and adhering to approved budgets. Has full authority for personnel actions. To be an OFFICE SERVICES MANAGER typically requires 5 years experience in the related area as an individual contributor. 1 - 3 years supervisory experience may be required.     Salary:  $42,000- $52,000 annual per year BOE

    Responsibilities

    The Office Manager is responsible for a variety of tasks including the organization’s accounts payable, managing receptionist staff, and assisting with  human resources functions such as  payroll, employee benefits, and managing the hiring process. Candidate must be efficient, organized, and able to work independently.

    Qualifications

    • Candidate must be efficient, organized and able to work independently.
    • BS degree in accounting, human resources, or related degree or equivalent experience.
    • Proficiency with Microsoft Word and Excel a must, also desire for Power Point skills.
    • Prior supervisory experience preferred.
    • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills.
    • Experience with various office equipment such as copy machines, multi-line phones, postage meter, fax machines, etc
    • Demonstrated compatibility with PHS's mission and operating philosophies.
    • Demonstrated ability to read, write, speak and understand the English language to communicate with all customers.
