Develops and implements procedures and policies for all administrative activities. POSTION: SALES DIRECTOR
DESCRIPTION: This position requires leadership and hands on sales management for a growing company delivering business-to-business services to the small business market. The position reports to the company Managing Partner and is compensated through a base salary and performance based commission structure (a high performer can earn $80-100k annually). The position spends approximately 70% of time as an inside sales manager, managing leads and referrals from the office. The remaining 30% of time is spent outside the office attending networking events and outside sales meetings.
The responsibilities/requirements for the position include:
· Minimum of 2 to 5 years of experience
· Bachelor’s Degree
· Comparable Experience
· Managing inbound sales leads generated from proven successful marketing campaigns throughout the year and the subsequent sales processes. This requires strong organizational skills, utilization of a CRM, and the ability to direct your support staff and delegate.
· Working with small business owners/executives in a consultative sales approach (on the phone, written exchanges & in person) to achieve a high Lead-to-Close ratio. This requires excellent listening skills and the ability to follow a specific sales process necessary to formulate needs based solutions.
· A significant commitment to targeted networking activities is required with many occurring outside of normal business hours.
· A strong understanding of customer service fundamentals, good technical aptitude, and the ability to work independently as well as in a small team environment.
· A great attitude, professional integrity and strong work ethic are essential.
· Experience in sales with an emphasis on strong sales closing abilities is strongly desired.
· Reliable transportation to travel around Northern Virginia area.
