Gather, disseminate, analyze, and input intelligence information for the special investigations unit (S.I.U.). Provide any field investigative duties as requested by the major of S.I.U.
1. Monitor inmate telephone calls, e-messages, and mail correspondence as directed.
2. Gather investigative information and input data in the Offender Management System.
3. Assist in gathering intelligence information and conduct joint investigations with outside agencies
4. Write investigative reports.
5. Evaluate information, select essential elements, and correlate new information with existing information.
6. Compile information, analyze findings, make interpretations, and write comprehensive reports based on this data.
7. Determine criminal associations and patterns of criminal activity relating to ongoing cases.
8. Provide administrative support to all of S.I.U.
9. Maintain records and files for all activities.
10. Answer the inmate tip line and PREA hotline number as needed.
11. Assist investigators in verifying legal mail before allowing it into the facility.
12. Performs any other related duties as directed by the Major of S.I.U. or their designee.

Pay: $57,345.00 - $69,266.00 per year
