Off-the-Road Tire Technician jobs in Indiana

Attica Motorsports is growing again and seeking experienced, detail oriented off road vehicle technicians for our service department! The successful candidates will be responsible for diagnosing and repairing mechanical and electrical issues on off road machines. We’re looking for a well-trained and highly organized professional who takes pride in his or her work. Knowledge of computers and computer diagnostics is helpful. Our service department is growing and expanding, creating the need for more professional technicians with a flexible schedule and a willingness to work overtime when needed.

Duties and Responsibilities Include

• Repair ATVs, RZR Side by Sides, Dirt & Street Bikes
• Help maintain a fleet of 50 rental machines
• Diagnose machines based on observational and mechanical testing as well as information provided by the customer
• Repair vehicles based on the diagnosed issues and repair estimate
• Test drive machines after repairs are complete to ensure mechanical soundness and to determine whether any other problems exist
• Describe machine’s condition to customer and answer any follow-up questions
• File appropriate documentation on each repair
• Follow all safety and operational protocol
• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications Include

• Formal education or certification in vehicle repair
• At least two years experience in vehicle repair. Off road machine experience is a plus
• A great attitude
• Dependable and trustworthy
• Ability to bend, reach, squat, grasp with hands, stand for long periods of time, and lift 50 lbs
• Flexible work availability

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $20.00 per hour
