JOB RESPONSIBILITIES: The Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant will provide the following services in keeping with the policies of Kinetic Kids, Inc., state licensure laws and the Code of Ethics of the American Occupational Therapy Association.
Occupational therapy for contracted hours of direct treatment on a weekly basis is expected with travel time, paperwork, and miscellaneous tasks including but not limited to additional direct treatment and indirect work related to tasks.
Public Relations as needed.
Prompt attendance at all staff and supervisory meetings.
Maintaining frequent in house and external case coordination with other professionals via telephone and other correspondence.
Participation in continuing education activities as specified by licensure requirements.
To maintain professional attire.
To see patients in a timely manner.
Assess and document notes daily utilizing our EMR system
JOB REQUIREMENTS
Minimum - Degree from accredited college or university
Experienced with developmental disabilities, pediatric experience preferred
